Born from islands.

I grew up on Réunion Island, in the Indian Ocean. And somehow, I never really left island life behind. The ocean, the intensity of the sun, the plants, the volcanic land, that particular magnetism you feel when you live surrounded by water — all of it stayed with me, wherever I went. Years later, on another island, I began to wonder why. Bali became a kind of open-air laboratory for that question: a place to observe how nature adapts, resists and thrives, and to imagine what could happen if we brought that intelligence into skincare. This is where YNFUSE began. Our first collection is now taking shape here, but I hope it is only the first of many stories we will tell through other islands, other botanicals and other landscapes. Because islands don’t simply stay in our memories. They shape us for life. — Marie
